APRO found dead in office

 

  • Police suspect unidentified persons killed him
  • Collector, SP visit Adoni and enquire about death 
Kurnool: Additional Public Relations Officer (APRO) Saibaba (52) was found dead in his office on Bharati School premises in Adoni in the early hours of Saturday. On receiving information, police rushed to the spot and shifted the body to government hospital for post-mortem.  

Speaking to the media, DSP Venkata Ramudu said that police found Saibaba dead in his office. After inspecting the scene of offence, the police are suspecting that he was attacked by unidentified persons as bruises and blood stains found all over his body. His right hand was broken at elbow, the DSP said. 

He stated that he can give actual reasons based on post-mortem report. He further said the deceased was a resident of Nandikotkur and used to do up and down from Kurnool to attend duties. 

On learning about the death of APRO, District Collector S Satyanarayana instructed the Deputy Director of Information and Public Relations Officer (DDI&PR) to rush Adoni and find out the reasons behind his death. 

Later, the Collector and District Superintendent of Police (SP) Dr Fakkeerappa went to Adoni and enquired about Saibaba’s death.
